BIOS Rev. 1.30.0:
List of changes:
- Improved Capsule Update (Vulnerability Note VU#552286).
- Improved usage of UEFI Variables (Vulnerability Note VU#758382).
- Support for Windows 8.1 added (Optimized BIOS-reserved Memory allocation).
- Solved: WOL is possible from S3/S4, although this function is disabled in Device Manager.
- Solved: External USB drive could sporadically wake the system.
- Fixed: Standby issue with Nvidia Quadro NVS 450.
Known problems and restrictions:
- As a result of the new Feature “Secure Bios Update” it’s not possible to flash back to previous released Bios with Bios setting “Secure Boot” enabled.
- With BIOS setting “IGD Memory: Disable” and no additional plugged graphic card no picture is shown. Workaround: Plug password skip jumper to load BIOS defaults.
- USB Port Security not working properly
- It is not possible to downgrade to BIOS Release 1.6.0 or lower.
- Both PCIe x1 Slots reduce speed from Gen2 to Gen1 after being woken up from ACPI S3 state.
- When clearing passwords (Administrator/User Password), passwords are not cleared when afterwards "Optimized Defaults" were loaded.

- Sporadic memory problems after resume from ACPI S4 solved.
- All USB ports (front, rear and internal) are reported as ejectable USB port to Windows.

- Updated video BIOS.
- Added new BIOS feature wake up on RTC on “one day of the week”.
- Fixed Windows 8 blue screen in UEFI mode after very first ACPI S4 boot.
- Within Windows XP system may wake up by itself from ACPI S3.
- Corrected selected devices in audio popup menu. As a result of this an automatic hardware scan without user action may result after first OS boot.

- Issue with previous BIOS versions: USB was powered with 2V in S5 (Hibernate) mode, which could result in system crash during next power-on/wake-up due to malfunction of USB devices. Solved with BIOS R1.21.0
