	Die Intel^® Solid-State-Drive Serie 510 arbeitet mit 6 Gigabit pro Sekunde, basierend auf der Intel NAND Flash-Speicher-Technologie. Erhältlich ist die SSD im 2,5" Formfaktor und unterstützt Transferraten bis zu 500 Megabyte pro Sekunde, durch acht parallel ansprechbare Kanäle.

	Die Geschwindigkeit ist somit höher als bei zwei SATA 6GB/s mit 10.000rpm im Raid-Verbund. Gleichzeitig wird der Stromverbrauch erheblich reduziert. Die 510-Serie ist in Größen von 120GB unbd 250GB lieferbar.

	Zu den SSD wird eine kostenlose Toolbox-Software mitgeliefert, welche Informationen, Management und Diagnose bietet. 

	Intel stellt auch eine Migrationssoftware zur Verfügung, die das Clonen des Betriebssystems und das kopieren der Dateien von einer SSD oder Festplatte auf die 510-Serie ermöglicht.
