Important note:  For updating the BIOS to Rev. 1.14.0 or higher at least BIOS R1.11.0 must be installed, otherwise “normal” BIOS update will fail. BIOS update via Recovery Flash is working.

  • Bug Fix: PS/2 keyboard not working after resume from ACPI S3.
  • Bug Fix: BIOS Setup entry via “User Password” was possible with BIOS Setup setting “User Password on Boot: Disabled”.
  • Confirmation of chassis intrusion detection via Administrator password improved.
  • Fixed: Some BIOS Setup items required the <Enter> key to be pressed twice.
  • EraseDisk functionality updated.
  • Bug Fix: Sometimes BIOS Setup entry not possible with “SATA Mode: Disabled” (at “Advanced – SATA Configuration” submenu)
  • and “Automatic Acoustic Management: Enabled” (at “Advanced – Automatic Acoustic Configuration” submenu).

  • Bug Fix: With BIOS Setup setting “USB Port Disable: Disable unused ports” (at “Advanced – USB configuration – USB Port Security” submenu) not all connected USB devices were detected.
  • BIOS Setup item “USB Port Disable” (at “Advanced – USB configuration – USB Port Security” submenu) renamed to “USB Port Control”.
  • BIOS Setup item “Additional options” (at “Advanced – USB configuration – USB Port Security” submenu) renamed to “USB Device Control”.
  • Implemented new microcode update.
  • Workaround for problems at ACPI S4 with some CPUs implemented.
  • Bug Fix: With some CPUs PCI Bus 0, Device 6, visible after reboot.

 
Known problems and restrictions

  • RAID Migration to RAID 1 from a non RAID system with 2 HDDs with Windows XP doesn't work properly (D3062)
  • SoL not working properly
  • USB Port Security not working properly.
  • When clearing passwords (Administrator/User Password), passwords are not cleared if afterwards "Optimized Defaults" are loaded
