Important note: For updating the BIOS to R1.14.0 or R1.15.0. at least BIOS R1.11.0 must be installed, otherwise “normal” BIOS update will fail. BIOS update via Recovery Flash is working.
BIOS Rev. 1.15.0:
List of changes:
- Entering HDD erase disk menu was not possible
- Updated CPU microcode
- Improved FAN Control silent mode
- Fixed: UEFI Windows installation hung during shut down
- Fixed: When USB keyboard and mouse was connected PS/2 components may occur with yellow exclamation mark in device manager
- Updated EFIFLASH version to 1.4.0
- Fixed: When all SATA ports were disabled in BIOS setup, entry of BIOS Setup was not possible afterwards
Known problems and restrictions:
- RAID Migration to RAID 1 from a non RAID system with 2 HDDs with Windows XP doesn't work properly (D3062)
- SoL not working properly
- USB Port Security not working properly.
- When clearing passwords (Administrator/User Password), passwords are not cleared if afterwards "Optimized Defaults" are loaded
